  • About Our Program
We schedule (10) 1-hour classes per day by appointment. We service 5-15 women per class, and the center hours are typically Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. to6:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. What makes Inches-A-Weigh so different and our results dramatically better than other facilities? We combine weight management, specially designed toning equipment and a personally customized program that offers the complete cycle of a permanent lifestyle.

Through extensive research and hands-on experience, Inches-A-Weigh  has identified the wants and needs of women of all ages, and integrated these components to develop a more fulfilling and successful program. With objectivity, we’ve achieved a broader understanding, offering consumers a unique, comprehensive and user-friendly approach to calorie reduction simultaneous to calorie expenditure.

Even when there are no adverse effects on the known risk factors, obesity by itself increases risk of heart disease. It also harms more than just the heart and blood vessel system. It's a major cause of gallstones and can worsen degenerative joint disease.

Obesity is now recognized as a major risk factor for coronary heart disease, which can lead to heart attack. Some reasons for this higher risk are known, but others are not. For example, obesity.

    1. raises blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
    2. lowers HDL "good" cholesterol. HDL cholesterol is linked with lower heart disease and stroke risk, so reducing it tends to raise the risk.
    3. raises blood pressure levels.
    4. can induce diabetes. In some people, diabetes makes these other risk factors much worse. The danger of heart attack is especially high for these people.
