Mom's Lasagna

Ingredients:    
One lb. ground meat
2 cans whole tomatoes
1 small can tomatoe paste
1&1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 pkg Lasagne noodles
1pkg Grated mozzarella cheese
1 pkg. grated cheddar cheese
1 large onion chopped
More or less garlic powder and salt to taste


Recipe:
Brown meat and onions in a large pan. Drain fat off meat and onions. Salt and garlic powder to taste. Add whole tomatoes and cut the tomatoes up in smaller pieces.  Add tomatoe paste.
Cook lasagne noodles in water as directed on package in a separate pan.  Let the tomatoes, tomatoe paste, the ground meat and onions all simmer about 5 to 10 minutes.  Drain lasagne noodles in strainer, cool with cold water so that you can pick them up.  Now Make Layers.
13 x 9 inch bowl or pan.
Layer in this order:
1.  Sauce
2.  Noodles
3.  Mozzarella cheese
4.  Sauce
5.  Noodles
6.  Mozzarella cheese
Repeat till full bowl or the amount you want.  Top with grated cheddar cheese.
Heat in oven or microwave till cheese is melted. Feeds 5-6 people depending on how much they eat!  Enjoy!!
