"We're gearing up for another fun festival and I can't wait for Merle to come perform. There isn't anyone in rural Montana who hasn't heard of Merle Haggard. He's influenced an entire generation of musicians and played everything from honkey-tonk to bluegrass, and seeing him in a rural cow pasture surrounded by the Big Belt Mountains will make for an awesome event".
Proceeds from the concert benefit the Red Ants Pants Foundation, a nonprofit organization in support of women's leadership, working farms and ranches, and rural communities. The festival, which is in its third year, is organized by the Red Ants Pants Foundation, in conjunction with Red Ants Pants, a company based in White Sulphur Springs dedicated to making workwear for women.
