Doniphan County Elects Chad Clary as New Sheriff

(DONIPHAN COUNTY, Kan.) Voters in Doniphan County elected to move Chad Clary from his spot as county undersheriff to the Doniphan County Sheriff. 

Clary won with 74-percent of the vote. Clary had 2,443 votes, while his opponent Jason Liechti only had 864. 

The road to the final showdown was filled with opposition.

Clary won in the primary against four other republican candidates.

He was serving as the undersheriff to Jerry Dubach who did not run for another term.
