Save the Date! West vs. Skyview at Skyview High School, Oct 25 (Pink Night)
PACK THE PLACE IN PINK
Skyview High School Volleyball's Pack the Place in Pink is slated for Thursday, October 25th, 2012, beginning at 4 pm. The Skyview Falcon varsity volleyball team will host the West High Bears in a cross-city matchup at 7:00 p.m. The event will also include a tailgate party, silent auction, dessert auction, 50/50 giveaway, and various vendors.
Other schools across the state are also planning to Pack the Place in Pink. Gyms in Bozeman, Bridger, Glacier/Kalispell, Lewistown, Miles City, Missoula and Sidney are hosting Pack the Place in Pink events in order to help build awareness about breast cancer and support their local community in providing financial aid to those who are fighting breast cancer. A portion of Pack the Place in Pink aid also goes to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer research. However, PPP's main objective is to help local, Montana breast cancer patients.
Since last year's event, Pack the Place in Pink has helped 24 women in Montana by providing over $22,500 in finances to women who are battling breast cancer. Recipients have been from all over the state, including Billings, Fairfield, Great Falls, Malta, Shepherd/Huntley, Monarch, Sidney, Butte and Norris.
Pack the Place in Pink t-shirts are on sale now for $6. They can be purchased at Rimrock Mall, Log Cabin Bakery, Tiny's Tavern, Euphoria Salon, or by downloading an order form at the Pack the Place in Pink Facebook page and emailing it to Shelley Dolan at dolans@billingsschools.org.

Women's Free Screenings
Thanks to several generous sponsors, free screenings are available at Billings Clinic for uninsured or under-insured women. These screenings include:
- Mammograms (age 35-50)*
- Gynecologic exam (Pap smear)*
- Breast exam (age 18-50)*
- Blood screening, 14-hour fast before appointment (water only)

*If you are 50 and older, please contact the Montana Breast and Cervical Health Program at 1-888-803-9343 for free or low-cost screenings. If you do not qualify, then we may be able to assist you.
